Fic: SPRING FEVER (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Eames/Goren)

I wrote this for the het_idcrack  challenge over on LJ. The prompt was Law & Order #11: Alex is feeling a little frisky, so she jumps Bobby in the SUV. This kind of got all mixed up in my head with two other things:

1) My longstanding wish for more fic that features Alex Eames Being Awesome... because she is, and she does not often get her due in canon.

2) More general thoughts I've been having while reading around the internets recently, to do with women (a) owning their awesome (both professionally and personally), and (b) having desires and acting upon them, and this being treated as positive and healthy.  I want there to be more fic in which we see awesome female characters doing both these things.

...and thus emerged this story, in which Alex kicks butt and takes names, in a few different ways. I was hoping for something that would also succeed at #2 above, in a lighthearted way...I would be very interested to know what other folks think.

ETA: I forgot to say that this story is set in the same "universe" as all my other LOCI fics, in which Bobby and Alex have been in a relationship since somewhere around the middle of season 4. They've had some rocky times recently, though...

Mini Preview:Jack picked up his drink and watched carefully as Abbie shrugged; she looked absolutely impassive, and he was already suppressing the urge to squirm as he kept thinking about what her face had looked like when she came.

16 Small Favors
Mini Preview: Taylor shrugged and started rolling Liz's stockings down, thoroughly enjoying the feel of her thighs under her fingers. "If I can't do it with my own hands, or maybe a belt, I don't bother, so spanking, pinching, uncomfortable positions." She almost thoughtlessly kissed the inside of Liz's thigh when she finished with the second stocking.

17 Desperate Measures
Mini Preview: The blonde leaned down and kissed Abbie as fiercely as she had kissed Liz earlier, crawling on top of her without bothering to wait for an invitation, or for Abbie to really wake up. "Fuck me Abbie. I need you to fuck me."

18 Not That Good
Mini Preview: Abbie held her for a moment longer, pressing the blonde into the wall for lack of a better plan. "Why? What were you thinking? How long have you...?" It was a desire in Taylor she had never experienced, never thought she needed, and that realization alone hurt.
