With the permission of the mods, I would like to invite you guys to a new community: [community profile] fandom20in20. It's an icon making challenge community for any fandom and thus any character/actor. The icon challenge is basically like any other 20in20 community, make 20 icons in 20 days; we're starting (hopefully) in April if we get a few people signed up ;)

May I announce [community profile] ladiesbigbang which is opening for sign-ups on the 1st of April? What sets this apart from the other Big Bangs (other than being hosted on Dreamwidth), is that it is allowing other things than fic to be the "Bang"! Just about anything pertaining to awesome women is welcome here be it fic, fanart, fanmixes, picspams, meta, CAPSLOCK SQUEE!!!, angry rants, fuck you she's awesome lists, and anything else you can think of. As long as it's about awesome women, you're good to go. We welcome gen, het, femslash, slash (if you can find a way to make it about a woman), rpf/s, and anything else that makes you happy.

There are a couple of rules here. ( They are also behind the cut )
