From Samurai sentai Shinkenger. Spoilerish for the last five episodes and only if you don't already know who Kaoru is. Post is seriously image heavy, so your browsers may not be fond of me for this. :)



The first female red in 30+ years of sentai, you could be forgiven for thinking Kaoru's character wouldn't be that great. She could very easily have been the character brought in to be Wrong and in the process highlight just how "perfect" Takeru is for his role, but she wasn't. She got to be smart, determined and resourceful and while she only got five episodes right the end, wow did she ever make those episodes work. <3 Go on, ask me how much I flailed over her even getting into the credits. >.>

Thank you. :) And yes, she looks great in that. I think the ShinkenRed outfit looks better on her than on Takeru but that one might just be me. >.>
